New Terminal of General Aviation of Olbia – Costa Smeralda Airport welcomes tourists arriving to Sardinia with private great aircrafts and jets from all over the world. The Terminal, which offers relax areas with café, shops, fitness center, solarium and also business areas for meetings and briefings, is included in a complex plan of urban expansion which will involve the construction of further business services and hotels. The Terminal, flagship and pride of the whole expansion plan, is a building of modern and futuristic concept: it is located in a outstanding virgin area with its wide white roofs and emerald glass walls that highlights the features of Sardinia’s landscape. Traditional and precious local stones are widely used for coating exterior and interior; the sea water laps the Airport and gets inside the building itself becoming part of the luxurious furniture which, with sculptures specially donated, characterize the Terminal.
